La Placita in Santurce, Puerto Rico is known for being the Friday destination of every local and tourist visiting the San Juan area on a weekend. Full of interesting mixology and speakeasy bars, award winning restaurants and dance clubs, La Placita also has very colorful murals in its surrounding areas.
One of them being a basketball court right beside the Placita bridge. This basketball court is gated, but I was lucky enough to find the gate open and sneak my way in. Colorful graffiti decorate this court and gives a lot of life to an otherwise dull space.

And talking about the bridge, right under and around it, you can find some pretty cool street art as well. Although I couldn’t find the artists that made them, I couldn’t wait to take pictures of these murals and show them to you.
As you can see, this area is not only for a good night of drinks and dance, but also for mural hunting and some pretty awesome pictures to take with you.
