When it comes to color, for us Puerto Ricans, more is always more! And since color is such a huge part of our culture, adding splashes of art on every corner of our 78 municipalities is kind of our thing. It just so happens that the municipality of Cataño has a new spot in town for you to relax and enjoy a fun family day. It’s called Bahía Viva.
Located right beside the ocean, you can stroll along a walk that shows you three beautiful themed piers.
Puente Rosado 🔐

Inspired by the Passerelle Léopold Sédar Senghor, also known as the Padlocks Bridge in Paris, at the Puente Rosado not only can you take a stunning picture, but you can also declare you’re undying devotion to your loved one and lock it up! 🔒 💕
Muelle del Orgullo 🏳️🌈

The Muelle del Orgullo or Pride Pier is vibrantly designed with the colors of the rainbow, in honor of the Lgbttq+ community and diversity. 🌈
Muelle Autismo 🧩❤️

In an effort to raise awareness and solidarity towards the community that forms part o f the autistic spectrum, the municipality of Cataño painted this pier in bright colors and puzzle shapes.
Aside from these three piers, this area in Cataño also includes murals and restaurants for you and your family to enjoy a nice afternoon. 🥰
Until the next one,
A Mural Hunter ✨
